Six billion, but if you consider how many live in extreme poverty, and then how many are over 60 or under 10 you'd narrow that number down quite considerably.

ehmmm 3 billion are those who starve to death...the other two million are too concerned about which new mobile phone they should buy and they don't pay much attention to music (only if it happens to get played in the background and somwhow feels good to them) and the other one billion is into music, of which only a tiny proportion of them is really "into EDM"...e.g. buying music, going into events and stuff. Besides EDM is so fucking mainstream nowadays, that everyone listens to it without being "into" it. It was different to listen to psy-rock,to be a hippy and have a whole political atitude in the 60s , it was different to be into EDM and be a "raver" in the 90s and it is different to be in EDM now where the majority who happens to listen to it is the (trendy) people with the mobile phones i mentioned before...
