Based on the mutual assured destruction principle if Iran was to acquire a nuke they would never actually fire it.
It is a means to an end, it brings the enemy to the negociation table and it shows you mean serious business.
Deviant governements who want to be taken seriously at a global level don't have many alternatives than acquiring nukes.
If Iran, North Korea, or any other country was to fire a nuke at an enemy their own nation could be wiped off the map before their target gets blasted.
At least that is the theory .... I think nukes are getting rusty around the world and I wonder if they would fire when necessary.
Need to call up Bush and tell him to give some nukes a test drive around the planet
