Honest answer: would this game be even considered remotely playable on a P4 1.9 GHz with 1 GB of DDR SD ram? Graphics card being nVidia GeForce FX...

hell no. My 2.8E can't handle it beyond the smallest of maps. It is extremely CPU-intensive.

Im running a p4 3.0ghz with gig of ram and ATI 9700pro.. runs well at low rez

but yah CPU intensive

I've gotten much better at this game. I think my favorite race are the cybran.

I havnt had as much time to play lately...

It's still fun though, but skirmish against AI is annoying.

And yea this game is CPU intensive, like crazy intensive.

I'm upgrading to a quad-core next month (finally), this is one of the few games that supports more than 2 CPU's.

^^ there are new AIs being written by modders. head over to garage.gaspowered.com to check them out.

this game really is fantastic. but yeah, the AIs are a bit of a let down so hopefully the modders can address that.

Yea, either its too easy, or its way to hard imo... its either they build and hold back, or they rush... on any of the harder modes it seems like they rush.

I want to play some longer, drawn out games with massive battles. Thats what this game seems about, and what makes me want to play it more than most RTS where the soul purpose seems to be the rush. kekekeke
