It's easy to say that, but sometimes you can't control yourself when you are being influenced by drugs.
Anyone who has gotten themselves into trouble with drugs will agree with me that when you are in that place, you need more than just self control to help you out of it.
I would imagine it is a billion times harder when the people you think care about you most are encouraging/supporting the behaviour.
She took a bad path in life, but I certainly would not say that she is entirely to blame. Either way, it is a shame... and it's too bad that people can't respect a person and their privacy, even after they're dead.

i have always had and always will have a staunch opinion on this. whether you are on drugs, drunk, etc you are in control of yourself. if you know that if you drink too much/take too much/do too much that you "lose" control of youself, then you suffer the consequences and dont use the substance as an excuse. you know your body and tolerance the best. you know what you can and can not handle. if you cant handle doing 10 shots without blacking out then you dont do 10 shots. there is having fun and there is excess. learn your limit and stick to it. kthxbye
