did you try opening itunes and fixing the issue there? changing the id tags?

lcky you for getting 30g. i have the ipod nano and it's 4gb with no video... it's smaller, but doesn't come withas much as the other ipods

I have a 20 GB one, but it's 4th generation, which means no color display.
I have it for 27 months or so and I'm pretty satisfied with it.

if you dont want to spend LOTS of wasted time changing each individual tracks ID3 tag go download MP3 Tag Tools. its free. it hasnt been updated in like 2 years but it works fine. does everything you will need it to do and more.
