Unacceptable to hear these tunes in almost every set they play NOWADAYS, IN 2007 !!!
As u guys said, their tracklists in 2005/2006/2007 look almost the same with a few surprising exception. But when it comes to live sets, it always the same bunch of tracks that are being played. G&D are loosing credit, value. The above listed tracks are some of the mistakes they should stop doing. These guys are amazing and having good mixing, Ableton tips & tricks but they should stop copy/pasting almost the same tracklists in all of their shows. Clubbers/ravers get bored easily and there's a lot fo good music out there.
Please if u know Dave, tell him, pass this message.
G&D are rising quick and have one hell of potential becasue they are true artists, they feel, have passion. But their sets in this last 3 years, in every live show have almost been identical. And they should realize at last, that there are tracks that clubbers simply don't accept hearing anymore, such as 2002,2003,2004 ones. (productions or others) There is so much good music out there.
G&D always surprise us. They always seem to be way ahead other artists/DJs, musical wise etc. These guys used to always chock, surprise us with tracks, style, etc.... But this monotoneous, boring, repetitive aspect in their live shows should stop.
NYC pacha show in 2005 is quite similar to the one in September with a few exception. Worse Pacha show in Jan.2007 almost the same in Acapulco a month later. I do understand that there are tracks that are hot currently and need to be played in almost all shows but old tracks (and there are bunch of them, almost 1/3 of trakclist) wich has been exhausted really show stop being played.
I love Gabriel & Dresden, this is why i criticize.
Hoping my message would reach the golden duo
Regards

post this message to dave dresden, hes easy to find there, and you can be sure he reads it.
but on the other hand, do never forget that gabriel & Dresden are known to you, but not to everybody on earth, when they come to clubs where they have not been, they have (!) to play their music, to make it well known and rememberable. when they play on the web, like in a state of trance, as guest mixers, they should not play old g&d mixes, and they dont do it :-)
just like someone said, if you ever go to visit paul van dyk, you expect him to play some of his cool own tunes, and they do it.
so what :-)

Thanks a lot :-) for your help and advice.
You probably are right.
Hence, maybe because i'm just a big follower of this duo, i exagerate things. Still, they've been several times to Pacha N.Y and seem to be not really "braking" this copy/paste tracklist habit.
Thanks again. Will try to pass the message
Regards
