Maybe that's what the "substances" are for. I'm willing to bet that all the girls will be on the other side of the room, on the phone, talking to the boys they wish were there.

Everybody wears something that's highly visible and is either green, yellow, or red. Green if you're single and looking, yellow if you're not sure, red if you're taken & loyal (yeah right). A hat, an bandana, anything like that will do. Then once everyone gets drunk it's that much easier to hook up - just like, "heey you're green! i read ya!"
