Just run in limited account mode so ppl can't make any crazy changes or install rootkits. Limited mode is good for that reason.

as long as you have the original cds then you'll be fine but unless you backed up your work then theres not much you can do mate.

I was thinking the exact same thing while reading this, that's one of the first things I did once I recieved my music computer and commenced loading it with all my software and files, some things are far too valuable to leave unprotected.
