I thought it was ok, wouldn't say best movie of the year though... i mean... it is a pretty cheesy action movie packed full of one-liners and naked, ripped, french canadian men...

The cinematography was indeed very nice during the battle scenes... some interesting editing techniques (slow motion, kill, go, slow motion, kill go...) and good choreography though.

One thing I hope I can get my hands on the "Immortals" costume from the movie

It made about $70 million this weekend.

It took 3 days to make 1/2 of what Troy made.

I just wonder if it will make more money than Titanic hmm....

The biggest opening weekend was for Pirates of the Carribean 2 which made twice the amount.

If only it was that simple.

I had high expectations for the movie. I like gore for gore (à la Kill Bill, which I loved every bit), but this movie didnt cut it.

I saw it on Sat. Me and my buddy were lucky that we got tickets in time.

I'm gonna see it again prob in IMAX.
