Smoking in public. Do you mean in a bar or in a club in a enclosed space etc then yes I agree that will harm you, but if it's someone walking down the street smoking then your being a bit of hypochondriac about it.

No I'm not a hypochondriac. Well okay I am, but I think I'm still correct. In places where smoking inside is banned, ironically there's an ass load of smokers pushed outside. And in overcrowded areas like NYC and LA there is NO WAY AROUND the smell unless I walk into the street and become roadkill. Ever walk down Sunset strip or Santa Monica Blvd? There the restaurants somehow extend themselves into the sidewalks and you either have two feet of space or you are literally walking through the (smoking section of the) restaurant. I don't like that concentrated spewage out of their mouths. Likewise, when I'm behind one of those busses emitting tons of exhaust into my car, I change lanes or even streets. It'd be better if their car became electric though (likewise smokers became non-smokers or even better, sexbots).

And everything I say about cigarette smoke applies to automobile exhaust. The only problem with automobiles is that cars don't cost 5 bucks a pack and can be easily discarded after one use. It's a lot easier to conceal a cigarette than a car.
