this event took place in downtown miami.... about 5 minutes from South Beach...

..and thor, if you were to come down here, i'd wait until next year this time to catch it again.... combine this with every major DJ in all the clubs for the week after this, and you have one of the best events in the world.... (what makes it even better is no one recognizes or knows any of these DJ's... people just know names... so you have a chance to talk & hang out with the major DJ's...)

yes....well.... this one worked! i was particularly impressed with all the neon-green algae growing all up the side and all around the chrome fixtures.

i've never seen algae turn that color - its usually more of a "swampy green"

i got a question for ya though... well, the one about the pans was answered.. i never noticed the changing tints and half-people in there.. theyre awesome reguardless!!!

but the real question is how the hell do you get a good pic at night.. i guess lighting outside would be *better* than at a club, but when i went to Carl Cox I tried to get pic and they all sucked... all grainy and shit.. my first prob was that I had a "one use" camera but maybe you did too.. just curious. thanks man.

Anyways, looks like it was a sweet ass party.. too bad no one in MN does anything like that. those ******s

hey TG... i PM'd you the link to the Billboard Live pics.. those are more personal so i'm not going to post them publicly....

Marc - i use a Canon A20... it has several modes... the key is to turn the flash off, and turn to hi-res, and hold it very still.... i noticed that even the slightest of movement when flash is turned off creates grainy and blurry pictures....very fickle.

anyways, that and practice.

and yes, the algae is a strange neon green.... maybe that is b/c people have pissed on it? or its radioactive? LoL.... i'll post the full-size pic one day and let you guys be the judge
