I just checked and my records stay stationary with the slipmats. The platter slips on the slipmats.

Just wondering? If the slipmats spin with the platter while you hold the record stationary, that means the slipmats are slipping against the records. Won't that in time wear the records?

Surely if they're called slipmats that means they don't get stuck to the platter, ie the answer meaning it's supopse to be B?

oh right i see thanx micheal russo, so you push the record gently forward or backwards till you find the exact beat you want to cue (is this right?) and you do this manually.... and it doesnt wreck the vinyl or stylus???... also once you do find the beat you want to cue wouldnt it be a bit tedious holding the vinyl there... what if you wanted to change the eq or something...

Heya Jah, you can either push stop on the vinyl U just cued and try moving and shaking it as least as possible till you want to play then you (first) put your hand on it and (second) push play again and ussually you are in the same beat or two that you were before and easily trace the exact beat, sometimes cue points are not THAT hard to find so you can also just stop it and quickly find it out later... If U HAVE to stop it at that point to save time later on, then either do what I said above or manae with one hand (I ussually stay one handed, it's not that limitating...)
