I'm sorry, but the BC government is talking about injection sites and you're upset with Stephen Harper and George Bush?

Folks, this isn't the Hotbox Café here. I know that a lot of you have already drunk the kool-aid and suffer from chronic BDS, but some of you seriously need to have your heads checked out.

Although, RJ, I would question some of your points as well. There's no question that the evidence shows most currently-illegal drugs to be harmful to both individuals and society, but much of the same evidence also shows that indictment for possession is an ineffectual remedy. Trafficking, that's another story.

I used to be a strong advocate of education myself, but I must say that I'm starting to get very tired of hearing the words "harm reduction". The phrase is becoming more and more of a liberal buzzword every day. First of all, it's appropriate in some cases but not in all cases, and secondly, risk and safety education is not mutually exclusive with legal penalties.

I agree, let us ban bars too, they are the opium dens of the young adult population! One of my brother's friends died once after drinking in a bar and attempting to dance on a glass table, and my sister nearly died when after falling off a balcony while intoxicated.
