it depends on the person and the context, IMHO.
if outing someone is damaging to their personal or professional life, it's pretty damn inconsiderate...and a defense of 'well, it's the truth' is a cop out.
having said that, some people do need a little kick in the ass to come out...that's different than maliciously outing them, though.
