Oh God, please don't let this deteriorate into "Vinyl vs. CD vs. Digital #43,509,735,609,732,847,625.4." Different strokes for different folks, people. That's all that this "debate" will ever be.

But what do people do when they haven't got cd-players?
I know this sounds VERY strange, but I have a dj contest in a couple of weeks and there's a doubledeck cdplayer. NO WAY i'm going to use that (i know i'm spoiled with my cdj1000's). So I'm just gonna grab all my vinyl and will mix with them. That's also a reason why I just keep buying vinyl.

Until they stop pressing vinyl
Indeed
While I do think that day is still kind of a ways off, I get the Dancerecord.com newsletter and its gotten really fucking slim in its selection now. Alot of stuff is out of stock and not going to be coming back in...
However in underground hardcore\grind\punk and what have you as well as even major label stuff, pressings of vinyl are always going to be made for a good long while as a total either rarity with special tracks or in an underground sense, the pure asthetic for whatever reason...
That day however that it does stop being manufactured, is sooner than later~
too bad imo

Eeek, yes some of those dual units suck pretty bad, but there are some good ones too.
