Haha, you are so full of shit. I've used Tritons plenty of times, and aside from the "bling bling" touch screen, they aren't something I'd be any more likely to associate with rap music than any other synthesizer, hardware or software.

i dont even know about the bling bling screen because i used the triton rack not workstation..

and were not talking about rap music were talking about bay area stupid do do dum hyphy music.

if you listen to that when you use a triton you should instantly reconize basslines, drums, etc etc, straight from e-40 and mac dre songs.
