I think it's a good and melodic song, I like it very much, and if your friends refuse to play it just because it's "cheesy" then they're idiots, because DJ's should play music that makes people feel good and dance, and this is exactly such a song.

I agree with Carbon, you and your friends just need to relax and enjoy music, instead of labelling and stereotyping.
