I think I'm going to start a thread asking, "Why is House music so fucking gay?", and see what kind of responses it gets.

I like all music, including trance.

Which didn't stop you from making 5 similiar comments in this thread that have been extremely one-sided. Boy, I wonder...

I think the pop argument, probably goes the furthest to explain the reason.

Now the real question is, why is pop music as a whole pron to such behavior, from its fans and artists/performers?

Also, trance DJs have far more time to do those other things. When your transitions are pretty short, you have lots of time. Its not that trance DJs cant mix (lets not go there) its because the music is different, and lends its self to a different mixing style.

Because the kind of people who are content to accept only pop music are the kind of people who don't really think for themselves. They're just waiting for suggestions telling them what they should think/do next. Which is perfect for pop musicians, who are simply ego-maniacs. Everybody wins.

That's my theory anyways.

because kids like trance and kids are what makes most things popular. look at all the pop artists and stuff. someone like brittney spears will have the # 1 album but i wont know one person that bought it. same for trance. its what most people start listening to when they get into EDM. one of my friends actually calls it beginners electronic music and i actually fully agree cuz thats how i was. now i can't stand it at all.

That's sort of a lame attitude to take. Aren't you a DJ? Don't you think being open-minded to all kinds of music will do more good for you than bad? I personally wouldn't pay to see a DJ who sticks with one narrow format. Plus, turning your back on your past is ghey. You should respect your roots. Where's the credibility?

Oh yeah and the whole "fuck trance" thing is so over.

So because YOU and your friends think Trance is for kids and "beginners", you are right? Please, it's your personal choice, thats a lame fucking comment. Just because someone else likes a different genre than you, does not make them beginners or kids.

What are you on about?
This is an honest question and was not started so house people could say this or say that. I'm not even a "house head" myself, so wtf?

You should probably start a thread that asks why you are so ridiculous, not asking why house music is so gay. Although maybe that question has an obvious answer too!

No, your point was that people like trance DJs because of how they look/what they wear. Just think about that, lol.

I don't understand. My question was completely serious too, and not meant to be defamatory toward House music in any way. It's just a question.

Jon Stewart had a good bit on this: http://www.mypartypost.com/watchvid...-_Question_Mark

Jennypie, I don't get you. You state 5 times in a row how Trance is for losers and is basically loser music, while at the same time jumping on people who essentially say the same thing.
