kenneth thomas has always outspun the headliners when i've seen him in cleveland, especially the last time oakenfold played. (is that really hard though?)

I would not at all call him the new oakenfold, however. oakenfold always had a massive stage ego which made his style so dramatic and bold. KT is a solid DJ with nice productions for sure. he definitely has a very strongly developed 'sound'

i remember the first time i saw him live i came in as he was playing a split second - midnight express - another time, cold drink, hot girl - so definitely on the chill side of house and trance

He's cool, but i've been reluctant to get back in contact with him. He grew out of trance (and so have I, to a certain extent) and when I asked him a few years back for some trance track suggestions (cause I thought he still was into trance) he basically gave me some smart-ass remark. It was a while after he and I went to see Tiesto, where he spun later on at the after-party. And there was some jealousy on my part, because I knew shit about music production, and he could mix so much better than I could. After I mixed for him at his house, he basically told me I didn't know how to mix and was sort of showing me how to mix properly, which was helpful, but I was so confident at the time that I could mix music at least, that I kind of felt like crap. Now I'm better, but still not 100%.

i freakin love kt, he is an incredible dj and a great producer, he has this next months guest mix on ELUCIDATE'S radio show on www.di.fm called d.i.v.e. (deep in vocal euphoria) it is on the vocal trance channel and it airs the first tues. of every month on di.fm and numerous other stations so check it out, and tune in to hear ELUCIDATE'S set then listen for kenneth thomas' set, i'm sure it will be sick!!!

agree with TheVrk, kt is a straight up down-to-earth guy and im loving his sound.
its on the progressive side but has melodic elements that make it feel like big room trance.
still one of my favourite tracks is his "sleeping satellite" remix...
blows me away everytime i hear paul oakie's essential mix from way back.

I hate it when that happens i thought i was pretty good at mixing too but one day i was at guitar center and this kid that was about the same age came up to me and said, the beat is too fast, i felt like shit for the next few days.

Elle is a good guy at heart - I think the whole "uberfamedom" thing caught up with him after awhile so don't take it too personal. He's a prodigy on tables and producing though - that's for sure.
