Haha, twice in my life have I known 2 pedophiles. I dated this girl in 8th grade, really popular too. Everybody knew her and I felt somehwat privilidged and bewildered that I was dating a gil so popular, and a year older than me. She had a party and I went to her house where her father was kind of being the responsible adult and watching it, so I got to meet him. Anyway, about 3 weeks into this, I go to school and everybody starts acting weird around me, and not just like a few people here and there, like almost everybody I talked to. But they wouldn't tell me what was up, they said that they would let my GF tell me. So I was like ok whatever.
I go to talk to her, and she wouldn't even tell me, she said I should find out from somebody else or that I will eventually find out about what was going on. By this time, I was starting to get anxious about what the fuck was going on and why the fuck no one would tell me. The next day, I get up and start reading the paper over breakfest, and behold, the answer was there. Supposedly, her Father was a photographer and had been for many years. He had taken the pictures at the junior high dances, and word reached authorities that he told some girls that he could give them a modeling career if they let him photograph them nude. Some of them agreed and he took them. Well, I read this and my jaw dropped. I thought the problem would be something kind of normal, but no! My GF's father was a pedophile and everybody knew about except for me.
Another time was just recently in fact. My fifth grade teacher was arrested because he had put cameras in his bathroom at home when he invited some of the students and their parents over for something. Kind of fucked up because he was one of my favorite teachers and was popular with a lot of students. I fucking read about this in the paper like 4 months ago, and I couldn't believe it.
