No more excessively long reviews from me.
Highlights/need-to-mention points about the night (in no particular order):
1) Partying with Jenn (Jazaal) and her buddy Matt--> For months now her and I have been trying to party together and it finally happened last night/this morning. I was quite excited to party with her and I had an amazing time. Thank you for everything Jenn, you were awesome and I hope you know how much I appreciate the whole time we shared (And I know Matt isn't on TA so he won't see this but it was sick to party with him: his easy-going, giving attitude was awesome).
2) Partying with Nada and Ali--> I had not seen Nada since Dec 9th for Tiesto @ the Docks and, so, I was really looking forward to partying with her and Ali. These two were such a great part of my night: like always, they were extremely friendly and welcoming towards me and they had such positive vibes throughout the entire night...in short, they were amazing to be around. I am so glad that I got in a full event with these two, it was great. My sincerest thanks to you two, really.
3) Seeing friendly faces and also partying with new ppl--> The crowd was great: everybody was friendly, feeling the music, smiling at each other, and so on. I met Shanny for the first time: he was a cool, easy-going guy who enjoyed himself throughout the night. I was happy to see Lisa again (another friendly TA!): thank you very much Lis for the hug and the pic! I talked with Nikki a few times as well Miss M: you and your boyfriend were super cool Thank you guys for the positive vibes and the kindness that you displayed towards me; I had a great time and I definitely hope to party with you two again. There are too many other TAs and randoms to mention them all.
4) Blake Jarrell's set--> he spun a great set, nice and hard (for the most part at least). As Nada said, Jarrell definitely had the BBR moving with his track selection.
5) Armin's set--> on the way down to Windsor I thought to myself a few times 'I hope Armin doesn't play an entire set of fluffy, really feel-good trance' and his set was anything but fluffy. Granted, a few of the tracks he spun were of the more uplifting kind of trance, e.g. 'Love You More', the majority of his set was hard hard stuff, i.e., tech-trance. I really enjoyed it. It certainly had a different feel to it in comparison to what he spun @ LOL 2006. It seemed like there were 100s of buildups--really hard, banging stuff--and I loved it. One of my favourite parts of his set was when he puts his arms out to his sides (pointing to either direction) at the moment that the song began the start of a build-up: it looked really cool b/c he stood with his arms outstretched and his eyes closed and his hand slightly down and he did not move from this position for about 20 seconds. Someone must have a vid of this
6) DJ interaction--> Armin signed my Armada shirt (and I shook hands with him and Blake Jarrel a few times which is always cool!).
7) Remo and his staff: I was, once again, thoroughly impressed by (and appreciative of) Remo's respect and concern for the ppl who had attended this event. As many of us know, Remo is truly a stand-up guy who continuously goes above and beyond what a club owner 'should' do for the club's guests. Remo, I imagine that by now you know how much I appreciate the countless things you have done for my friends and I both times that we've traveled to Windsor. Thank you very much for another incredible night; you were an excellent host. I cannot wait to come back down very soon to do it all over again.
8) Iain and Abdul--> When I first met these two gentlemen on NYE @ the BBR I knew without question that I would certainly be interested in getting to know them (and their music) better and benefiting from the chance to party with them once again. I had a sick sick time with you guys last night and I am very glad that I was fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of this kind of opportunity. I really appreciate your kindness (and a HUGE thanks for the post-club stuff). I cannot wait to party with you two again really soon. To be honest, a large part of my excitement for this event derived from knowing that I'd be able to chill with you guys again!
9) Dancing in the DJ booth(s)--> This was a first for me and it was kick ass (thx Remo!).
10) TRACK OF THE NIGHT FOR ME: 'This World Is Watching Me'.
11) FINALLY going out again--> Prior to this event I had been out only two times this entire semester; I missed some incredible parties (A&B, B&J, SvD, etc) and, so, it was great to finally be able to party and not have to worry about school.
Here is a pic of my autographed shirt:
Nada and Jenn both have tons of pics and vids.
A sincere thank you to every single person who contributed to another amazing BBR experience.
P.S. I hope that Armin performs just as well tonight and that all you ppl who are going enjoy yourselves.

It was my first time at the Boom Boom Room, and I was really impressed with the layout, the staff, and the patrons. No hassles at all getting in, drink lines weren't too long, and everyone was really nice Blake continues to impress me more and more with each set I hear him play - he's incredibly talented and deserves every ounce of his success. Armin impressed me as well - I've only seen him a handful of times before, and as such expected a lighter set (which usually isn't to my liking), but he played it a bit rougher and I really enjoyed it.
After coming over once, i'm definitely coming to more events at BBR. It really is right nextdoor to detroit...
cenik, judging by the look of your shirt I think you were the one right next to me near the booth at the end of Blake's set. hello!
