Sick night! Got there relatively early, Jason's set was gathering a huge crowd on the floor that was really into the music. The ending of the set was a lot of fun, with lots of extremely hard tracks the likes of which I have never heard Jason play in an opening set.

Ferry got on and the floor was packed so tightly that 'crowd-navigation' was impeded. That's ok, though, I like crowded clubs. As with any Ferry event, I found the crowd to be great. And yeah... everyone was fucked up. I remember watching a guy that looked to be in the hugest K-hole while some other guy vomited right next to my friend. I wouldn't say that I was sober either...

So I found Ferry's first few tracks to be a bit bland. A lot of the tribal and simple stuff that was building off of Jason's prog. didn't really catch my fancy, and it was only after a few tracks had passed that I got into the groove (and what a groove it was!). So after getting through those first few, Ferry started cranking some of the craziest driving basslines that I've ever heard, dropping bomb after bomb on the dancefloor, pleasing Trance Addicts and House Heads alike. I really enjoyed the set, but what really got me was Ferry's skill as a DJ. I haven't seen him spin since his last day at the Crobar Residency, and I simply must have forgotten how good of a DJ he was. Unlike many modern DJs, he didn't just put on a killer track, lean back and headbang for a bit. Instead, Ferry was constantly mixing, altering, and adding effects to his tracks. There was even a point in the night when Ferry removed his headset and mixed a few flawless transitions without its aid. It's after watching a show like that that you realize that Ferry spins on a level above and beyond many other DJs.

Overall, it was a great night. A pleasure talking to all the TAs I ran across (as usual) and of course many thanks to Made Event.

agreed, his set was a bit dull in the beginning. From around 230 on he absolutely owned that place. At this point, I have nothing but good things to say about that man.

I got to pacha lil bit after 1 am. I heard only the last 2 songs of JJ's set so i cant really comment on that. Ferry Corsten was great. I havent seen him since his residency at Crobar last year. I forgot how awesome of a DJ he is. He brought out so many good things to the table. It felt soooooooooooo good being there and to listen to amazing CHOOONS.
It was nice to meet up with the TA's and it was cool to see some of us wearing white clothing. The floor was crowded in the beginning but after 4am it started to clear up a lil bit. I started losing my juice at around 546 am, but after a brief period of a rest, i went back to dancing again. It was an amazing night. Ferry kicked my ass.

All these reviews and no one mentions the special guest appearance by HOLLYWOOD with the championship belt, I am shocked, nice meeting Big Mike, big ups to Pete-Fotoaddict, Ferry was tremendous, better than his WMC sets, good for MADE, they seemed to have a packed house, Jason Jollins is great local DJ and deserves all the credit for playing a set that ha the crowd goin full steam, "Now I Can See", that track was sick someone ID it please

Hollywood is an interesting character Lyss and I got a photo of him right at the end with him, his belt and a signed poster. Apparently he's doing So You Think You Can Dance.

To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

IT WAS INSANE, everybody was going crazy(except the few wannabe guidos that didnt know wtf was going on). You disappeared from the floor and all of i sudden i saw you behind the booth. So that was you're request? Nicely done.

getting there early was the biggest mistake i could have ever made.

by 12:15 i was just about ready to get the fuk out.

After seeing nothing but Edgar V open up for all the big Trance dj's in Miami [who knows how to open up PROPER] JJ was just sad.

I think him dropping trance towards the end of his set extremely mother fuking slow was just a diss to all the producers. I highly doubt the producers wanted their songs playing at 136 bpm.

Ferry was okay.. I left kinda early.

I hope JJ doesn't open up for PvD up here cuz 135 bpm[JJ] to 145[PvD] is a huge difference.

edit that song ferry played with the sample of Bohemian Rhapsody was absolutely sick though
