I actually wouldn't agree that McCain was such a "loser" in this video...

I thought Stewart interrupted far more and only cared about making his own points... Stewart, IMHO, did not really win the debate. In addition I'm sure there were plenty of ppl in the audience who agreed with McCain.

I am no McCain supporter, I just felt like i had to point this out...

Yea, bottom line is that he is a great guy stuck with a horrible party. Its like when your friends make an ass of themselves and you have to be associated with that....kinda sux.

I guess my biggest issue with his early campaigning (prior to his official announcement this morning) is that it seemed as though he was taking a much harder conservative line than he has in the past.

I'm still really wary of McCain in this election.

That being said, I still haven't seen the Daily Show from last night, planning on catching the rerun that's on in a bit.

Erm, he's the least popular guy in the Senate. Even members of his own party can't stand him. Mitch McConnell has been quoted as saying that McCain sits in the back of caucus meetings and only speaks up to grumble or add some spiteful comment. He's apparently a real pain in the ass, and has quite the temper. And his comment about losing to al Qaeda in Iraq? He's apparently an idiot too.

To tell you the truth, the potential for him to become President terrifies me. Almost as much as Giuliani does.
