If your favorite band only comes to town once every 2 or 3 years (pearl jam or RHCP, or Tool for ex) does it mean they don't like toronto...it just means they are busy doing other gigs, new music...or just want a break...
There is a heavy rotation with certain DJ's is this area...and i think it has nothing to do with them...just the way toronto books - They book safe DJ's...
(There are a ton of wikkid dj's that will never been seen here which is a real shame)

That's a valid point.
However, for the longest time we've been speculating it's because both PVD and Sasha have some type of negotiation discrepancies with the booking people of Toronto. Namely, the GUV!

LOL. PvD and Sasha aren't 'safe DJ's'? They draw crowd like maggots on a dead corpse
I know fuck all about why Pvd and Sasha don't come to Toronto, but Toronto is one of the leading EDM scenes in North America and perhaps up there in the world, so not coming here just hurts their own fanbase

I def am not saying they aren't safe dj's..but you can almost predict when armin is coming to toronto...(decadance - i know he wasn't at this one but the date was pretty close)...deepdish usually at freedom - but are not this year.. ferry corsten had done i think 3 LOL in a row...(surprisingly he hasn't been here for a bit...)

Well.. being lucky enough to see Sasha on Sunday evening.. I hope he makes his TO return soon..
I don't feel that he has any ill will toward TO...in discussing the Skybar set with him he got quite sentimental when reminising and gave me a hug. His exact words were.. "That was a great fucking party... " said with a huge smile on his face..
If any one noticed his schedule last year he hardly played anywhere.. I would not take it personally.. he will be back one day.

that isn't true whatsoever. LOL
you can't just call up an agent and book someone just like that. it's not easy and certain DJs are just in such demand that they are not so easy to book. believe it or not, there are other clubs out there that do outbid the Guv on artists

Even though I said I was disappointed by his recent stuff, I would like to see Sasha again. He has the ability to be absolutely amazing.
PVD on the other hand, snooooze.

I'd say Sasha would be back first - but personally, if I want to see a DJ that bad, I'd just go to him.
