Dang I feel aweful about the baby, but about the parents too, if they werent aware and were only uneducated and ignorant i dont think they deserve life sentence. This vegan shit is completely irrelevant. Any baby younger than 6 months needs nothing other than a substantial amount of milk to survive, and be healthy. The key word being substantial.

This is obviously a case of deliberately underfeeding the child, which in no way has anything to do with the parents being vegan.

It is VERY common for babies to get no other food in their diet other than formula or milk for the first 6 months... what else can you feed them really?

How they related veganism to the death is beyond me.
