I quite enjoyed it, actually, despite the general negative reaction it's recieved. It's far from the strongest Chems album though, and it's also a record that requires you to wrap your head around it, two reasons that probably turned most people off it.
Its funny, I skipped back to Exit Planet Dust after the review, and it really did put it all into perspective.
However, its their sixth release and it has its moments, but those moments are getting spaced out with more filler on each subsequent album it appears.

Agreed, it is less obvious than some of their older albums.

That is undoubtedly the worst piece of shit the Chems have ever allowed to go on an album. What the fuck were they thinking? It's even worse than Pioneer Skies.

I really enjoyed Salmon dance, and I'm a huge Chem bros fan. I think it was pure fun, but very well produced.
You just know they were sitting around getting baked, when somebody suggested a song about 'a salmon dancing'.
