By the by, once this tour is up, I'll have spent three years of my life under these conditions. Suffice it to say I'll be a long time in regrowing that "Give-A-Shit" that's been worn off me.
Well, I'm not whining at all. I know what you guys are doing and appreciate it. When's your tour up and is this your last one?

Tour is up est. March 2008, but that's subject to change without notice. If I have my way, it'll be my last one until we either a) find a real war, or b) they recall me to active duty via IRR until my 8 years are up (I'm at a shade under 5 right now).
Who knows, though; if Matt gets snatched, maybe I can volunteer to air assault into Bogota.

Incorrect
Greetings from Bucaramanga. All I can say right off the bat is that ALOT of people in America has the wrong impression of this country. It has its bad parts, and FARC does exist, but they donŽt seem really influencing Bucaramanga.
The main plus here is that the ratio of girls to guys here is about even, and even better...the ratio of FINE girls to...not so fine ones blows away what we have in Texas. The only major difficulty IŽve run into is that my Spanish sucks. Now I understand how some of the illegal aliens feel
All in all, its a beautiful country, I wish I had pics to reference but just google Bucaramanga images and youŽll get the idea. As far as the music goes...it really seems to be popular here. Looking forward to saturday night.

Colombia was incredible. It was to my understanding that the sets were recorded. When I receieve them I will post them up. My camera was lost so I don't have any pictures, however I am certain pictures and possible video of the event will appear on the website of the event organizers.
Long story short. I ended up playing twice. first from 10:30 to 12:00 and then from 6:00am to 8:30am (the party was still packed lol) I can easily say this gig topped em all. Never has there ever been an event where multiple pyrotechnics were involved.
