Could go on for ages.

England do two things damn well, and perhaps better than any other country - music and comedy.

i think most people wouldn't bring up clapton in this sort of argument, it's embarrassing.
The Zep however, are definately one of our greatest exports. You simply don't fuck with The Zep

yeah but now nobody does comedy like the chasers. we're too politically correct.

British food is great now, it's changed so much to what people think due to the huge multi-cultural influences in it. Add musically to that the genius of Muse, the sporting prowess of Kevin Pietersen and Monty Panesar and Stevie Gerrard.

yeah, you're going to hell. It's pissing me off though, her parents were fucking irresponsible & are getting so much sympathy for leaving 3 kids under the age of 4 in an apartment while they went out. If this were a single parent or a kid of foreign descent I bet they wouldn't have millions pouring in. Ah well.

You're damn right!

There were other cases in our country, and none receive that kind of attention.

We're too busy trying to give the idea that we live in a secure country, and Algarve is still a good place to spend the Summer... damn tourism lobby.

Journalists are beeing damn bloodsuckers though, either the english ones as the portuguese ones. It's pissing me off so much turn on the tv in a particular channel and see all the time the same empty news, the same nothing-to-tell story.

Bah.

Pity they can't win you a match.

If you're lucky, you may live to see England win the Ashes back within your lifetime. Don't get your hopes up though.

I saw it in 2005. 2006/7 we just made some bad choices but that era is gone now and we're currently beating the west indies, only the weather will stop us

I'm sorry, I know music is subjective, but you're wrong. It's been said that God plays through Clapton's guitar.

Quite possibly my favorite country in the world when it comes to music. Its involvement in acid house, hardcore rave, drum'n'bass, and most recently dubstep says it all really. It's not really about "exports" though, it's just a very culturally diverse place.
