trance hands are when you're feeling the trance vibes during a particularly uplifting moment, often vocal in nature, and you just stand there, arms stretched out in the air, or directed towards the DJ producing such mad tunage, and you just feel it--
suggested trance hand stance includes feet apart, at roughly shoulder
width, and maybe eyes closed: you can tap a foot, or two, but when trance-hands are happening, it's nice to stand still and really feel it...
well, that's what i do - also, that explanation is copyrighted

X2!! EXTREEMLY GOOD EXPLANATION!! i take my "trance hands" to another level lol, they were in full swing when sean tyas played airwaves at transmission thats for sure! gotta have ya eyes shut IMO, have no distractions around you and your 100% mentally and physically focused on the sounds and emotions!
and i agree wil phillby also, i dont know alota these names that play at pharmacy and so on, so i go.... experience them... and make up my mind about em, i didnt know who sean tyas was but fark after his set i was swinging towards the opinion of "great tunes, uplifting at points, constructed the set very well for the experience of his set"
to defend myself in a way, just cos i dont know who "someone in the NOW" is, doesnt mean im a newbie to trance. thats all there is to it! i sitll love my upflifting/melodic trance, touch of other styles of harder trance.... in the end, its enjoyed. takes me to my special place on cloud 9 in my own little space and it makes me smile thats all
