Made at Pacha presents a powerful combo of two of the most respected artists in dance music today - NYC house music legend Danny Tenaglia and techno maestro Richie Hawtin join forces for a legendary night of electronic dance music. At first, this unique pairing may seem at odds to their traditional fans, but their mutual love of techno and clubbing make them ideal partners for an awesome night of clubbing where techno is the answer.
Danny Tenaglia’s spectacular marathon DJ sets are driven by his innate ability to connect the music with the dancefloor crowd, resulting in magical life-changing nights. Drawing on his incredible history of music, Tenaglia’s influences range from Disco, Soul, Funk, R&B, House, Latin, Samba, Tribal, and certainly Techno! Richie Hawtin has emerged as a leader in technological innovation and in pushing the boundaries of electronic music with constant reinvention. The globe-trotting DJ and international techno futurist is constantly on the move performing everywhere from 300,000 festival to 300 person dark rooms. spreading his minimal gospel. His new residence in Berlin, the world’s second techno city has been a great source of inspiration and creativity with like-minded artists and musicians. Also based in Berlin, Hawtin’s pioneering MINUS record label continues its prolific output and is a nurturing environment for a new generation of minimalist techno composers and DJs. This June 2007, Minus presents ‘Nothing Much – A Best Of Minus’, an eleven track compilation CD compiled by Richie Hawtin and Clark Warner. The compilation showcases the minimalist Minus aesthetic, and its increasing output and steady impact on electronic music since 1998.
