actually I'll be VERY surprised if you don't like him. The biggest reason that I say Hernan plays house (of some variety or another, progressive or whatever else) is that it's NOT trance and it's NOT techno. Most of it is progressive house, really great stuff, built into a really cohesive and just downright sexy set. IM me and I'll send you a set or two.

also, the times I've seen him live have been better than his mix CD's, if anything, for those of you still on the fence.

I heard some of one of his renaissance mix cd and it was whack, boring, convince me otherwise im still going though just to experience it live.

his Renaissance CD was a bit ploddy, but so was the vast majority of the music being released at the same time.

Both Sequential mixes, though, are incredible. I'd also suggest some of his live mixes.

And then my story of Hernan:

The second time I have had a chance to see this man spin was when I got to see him live at the Renaissance 15yr Anniversary Party WMC 2007
and it was to say the least the phukin shite. Hernan, Tiefzwartz, DJ Hell, and others that I couldnt remember just threw it down in all the rooms of that club/restaurant/bar. Digweed and Carl Cox were just there chillin in the VIP and I got to take pics with Hernan as I was struggliing to make coherent speech

Great times, as was the whole WMC experience!!
