Last night Sasha and Luke Fair put on an excellent show. In my opinion Luke Fair had a better set and that's not to take anything away from Sasha. The legend that Sasha is the expectations are much higher.
Awesome crowd last night, lot's of friendly people too. And for the first ever I think there were more girls and guys at Vanguard!!!
Highlight of the night was when I was taking pictures out on the patio I heard someone say "Man you're still taking pictures". I turned around and didn't recognize the person but then he told me who he was. I met him seven years ago at the Mayan at a Sasha & Digweed show. Only at that time I was shooting with a disposable camers. Anyways I had not seen him since and I thought it was pretty odd he remembered me.
Regret of the night, I missed the entire Clovis and Bas set in the back room. Btw the smell in that room is HORRIBLE!!! I walked in earlier to talk to Drew and walked right out. Couldn't stand the smell
The night was near perfect. There were some dissapointments but I don't want to waste my time writing about it.
Sasha is not a DJ to be missed...truely one of the most gifted DJ's today if not the most gifted one!

Amazing night! around 3:30ish Sasha played a tune that (I think) it kept saying 'golden child' or something that sounds like 'golden child'. The child part I'm sure of. Any ideas?
