I like it when DJ's lark around a bit - it just shows that they like the tune that they're playing. I would find it very strange if a DJ was playing to a missive audience like the Love Perade and werent really getting into the tunes they were playing!

As for the comment about PVD doing air guitar because he's bored of playing his pre-planned set, fu(k off, you're a (unting Tw@t

Okay, you might think I am nuts but when I saw Paul van Dyk at a Restaurant a few weeks back, he was eating while sitting at the table.

My cousin in Papua - Newguinea saw him at 2030 and he did the same thing the next night.

Has anyone else noticed him doing this at recent restaurant visits??

And if he is doing it, any ideas why?

i think he is bored because playing 10-14 tracks in an hour doesn´t really need much effort

Umm, who cares why he does it or if he does it? We all do stupid stuff when we really "get into" the music, and artists are no different. It's not their job to look badass or have the next best move in the DJ booth, it's their job to enjoy the music, plain and simple. Does it look stupid? Yeah, I'd laugh if I saw anyone doing that. Does it matter? Fuck no.
