that's dumber than the time i read the box for Vista and it said it required a sound card to install.

2. why would an OS REQUIRE a sound output? (it is listed under requirements, not recommendations)

iTunes accounts are a way for them to collect information. Information is a commodity. I don't know why this would surprise anyone.
