I remember Rebel9 from a few years ago because he ID'ed a few tracks for me. He has good taste in older trance music.
Most probably he insults todays output because it's just shit in comparison.

The only other one I post significantly on is Trancefix, but it's a little too cheery over there, and man, those guys would slit their throats for Armin. The whole undying love affair with ASOT gets a bit much for me...

Yeah Rebel may come across as being arrogant, but most of the time it's entertaining. I suggest you give him a chance, because he has pretty good taste, even though often times I find myself disagreeing with him.

i find it funny how defensive you ppl get. its just as "pathetic" as the members who slag off your djs...

Even with the influx of fanboys, I'd say this forum is still the best EDM forum I've come across. Even still, I must say that it seems like the musical tastes in people here have been gradually shifting away from trance to proggresive, and it's been alot harder to find new trance artists and tracks on here than it used to be : (. Not that I have anything against prog, but there is still good trance being made out there and I'm not sure this forum lives up to the name "tranceaddict" anymore. Then again, most people think trance is dead, so meh.
