My friend Alex and I arrived at 12...

I didn't go with high expectations, knowing that he sucked last time...I decided to give him another chance and so here is how he was , in my opinion anyway:

He was supposed to go on at 1:30, and was 15-20 min. late. I was in the vip when he approached me and started talking to me and Deadmau5...I was just thinking...OK, u're late, people are really waiting for u to go on, but he decided to sit down and relax for a bit...so I left...went outside...

He probably came on around 2 am or so...For the first half hour he was soooo boring and annoying, that I just remember saying to Alex : if he continues like this im gonna be really pissed...The next half hour was a little better but pretty much the same shit...As soon as a "decent" build up came along, I got excited and thought ok finally...it just went back to the same crap...

So the first part of his set was SHIT...but when 3:30 hit...I don't know what came over him, but from then until 5...his set was WOW WOW WOW....He had such amazing new tracks, I didn't recognize half of them...I was really impressed...I danced my ass off in the fkn sauna...Dirty!

Last night was probably the hottest that club has ever gotten!! EWWWW!!! You seriously did not have to move and you'd be sweating...The crowd was the worst I've ever seen...Pushy, rude, annoying, sketchy, every other girl was tripping/falling over her heels...lol at how many girls I saw wipe out !! haha

I couldn't find a spot to dance for longer than 2 min...There was absolutely no respect from the crowd last night...But I was glad to see ppl I haven't seen in a long time

Brad's opening set was perfect btw...I still love him!

Sander 9/10 (3:30-5)
Brad 9/10
Crowd ... I don't have to rate that...

Overall...I had a great time, thanks to all my boys (staff at TiL), friends, and ofcourse Sander's set...

Nice seeing you out last night Jay...good times!!! lmao

No Line UP !!!!! First time I remember Guest list getting me in right away without waiting in a dumb 'guest list line up'.

It felt like two parties in One.

First Party...
Before last call, it was soooo rammed. I think it was the busiest I've seen. More so than lalwer, both times this year. No room to do anything but sweat. Thank God for the spots upstairs under the A/C vents.

Second Party...
After last call, probably half the crowd left. Dance floor opened up. Tuneage improved, and everyone still there was ready to get down.

I thought the crowd was fine. Friendly and ready to party. There was just no room to do so until way later.

First time seeing Copeland since who know when....long ago in the Guv's main room I think. Heard rumblings that this was his first show back in Toronto in a while. Not sure though (I'm new, I get it)

I agree that Sander started soft, but came on and finished real strong. I enjoyed him more this time than at ultraspin earlier this year.

I thought the last two hours of mayhem was well worth the first 4 hours of struggles.

My friend Katt was stalking Sander when he left the booth to go to the bathroom lol. Security tried to stop her, but somehow she managed to pounce and get her kiss before he got back to the booth.

Loved the last few tracks he picked to close the night. From where I was standing it seemed like everyone on the dance floor did too.

I found some peeps video taping most of the last half hour, and I tried to get them to come and post the vids on TOTA. Let's hope they do.

agreed. those last few ones were the highlight of the night for me. these were the last 3 tracks he played in order:

Gui Boratto - Beautiful Life
Radiohead - Street Spirit (Funkagenda Remix)
Depeche Mode - Enjoy The Silence (Matt Samuels Remix)

i heard a lot of tunes i recognized last night but i was too drunk to remember it all, though here are some i do:

Smith and Selway - Transit Time (Dubfire Remix)
Kidscience - The Lights (Nick and Danny Chatelain Remix)
Dubfire - Roadkill (some remix)
Kurd Maverick - Let's Work
Maskio - Mia Casa (Peter Bailey Re-Edit)
Daley Padley & Chris Special - Terrace Attack (WOAH. Track of the night!!)
Remy and Roland Klinkenberg - Mexico Can Wait

and that daft punk track was B-A-N-A-N-A-S!

That was the highlight from what I had heard...

I left part way through sander's set, but it didn't seem to be going anywhere while I was there. Copeland was in another league though, he was super good.
