It's not up to the coaches... Phil Jackson never wanted Shaq to leave but they management did. And they didn't listen to kobe when he wanted jason kidd why should they listen to Phil?

phil didnt say he WANTED to see kobe with lakers next year, he said kobe IS going to be laker, meaning he knows more than you
