first of all, it's a myth created at communities that reason has a sound engine that is worse than cubases, FL's, [insert favourite sequencer software yadi yada here].
Reasons sound engine processes them float numbers in 32bit just like cubase and FL (I know it's a bit simplified saying that but you get the frickin point). Nuff about that and back to topic
it shure as hell looks good, it's really about time that they update the sequencer part since it felt really old tbh. Vector manipulation, the possibility to create second takes and stuff like that is super! (I often tend to have small bursts of track layed out in the sequencer, no need for that any more )
Thor looks interesting too, seems like you can do pretty much anything you want with it. And imagine a few thors, subtractors and malstroms combinated...my god what a crazy setup that could make.
The only thing I really miss (as usual) is the (at least in other programs)regular audio track. I mean shure you have the samplers NN-19 and NN-XT but if you want to work with a full vocal track the only good option is to rewire. Why on earth can't they just create a simple audio track, it doesn't need warping options, automatic stutter magic and a laser gun. I would be perfectly happy with a basic audio track!
