Only that zip disks had better implementation rates. How many people people do you know who have had wimax? At least I know and used zip disks. Granted, Canada's urban areas already have the infrastructure for wired broadband, and WiMax is geared towards helping rural areas (or developing countries) without that same infrastructure.
Recently, in The Economist, there was a MASSIVE 14 page report on "the coming wirelss revolution". I found a lot of the techonolgy they mentioned was alrady in use today, and some of it such as WiMax, was just taking too long to get going.

Hahha, i loved it when I'd set up my defenses properly, and the dumb AI would send a horde of soldiers against my base, and all I'd hear is the repeating zapping as they all fried as soon as they came within range.
