Yes. There are two sides to every story. And if you remember much from your childhood days, you'll remember that one side often tends to be full of shit. In this case (not the general case) you're probably right, although it's still not an excuse (and I'm not saying that you meant it as one). Most of us in society are have-nots compared to someone or some group, but that doesn't mean we try to damage them personally or economically.

Most people are also in their current positions as a result of many previous conscious decisions, not as a result of pure dumb luck. It rarely stands to reason that an entire group could have chanced to be in some particular predicament without having done anything to get there.
