Unfortunately it's neurotoxic, for some reason things that inspire the release of DA/NE cause neurotoxicity, at least, when mediated by things with amphetamine structures. Perhaps in the future the mechanism can be elaborated upon and this side effect avoided.

And it's neurotoxic in most mammals in dosages around 20mg/kg IV (a lot I know).

I haven't actually used an illegal drug in years, benefit of being a chemist I guess, you can have unscheduled drugs and prodrugs.. Not that I trust experimental drugs though, I rarely ever get high anymore, and I figure every now and then shouldn't hurt..
