where do i start? maybe 'wow' is a good place. shiiiiiiiiiiiit...
ok so i pass out like super early around midnite, wake up at 330am, and maher ends up going on his own at 4am. i'm thinking 'dude i get diggers on sunday, i can hold out on this party'. that thought process never fulfilled itself.
at 530am, maher comes home, i wake up, he tells me how it was. his description was sooooooooooooooooooo damn appealing. i said fuck it, got up, got ready and was at stereo with maher by 600am
so here is my take on a really unique, fresh nite out at the temple:
damian pretty much covered alllllllllllllll kinds of tech house; if you are a tech house lover, you most definitely should have been at this party...he was all over that genre and bringing out its bestest elements repeatedly, with every track he layed down. his set had a flow that was impossible not to fall in to, not to feel...from dark, progressive, pounding, sinister, chuggy beats to some of the BEST (that i've heard in a whileeeeeeee, maybe ever )experimental, borderline minimal, thick glitchiness and aspects of techno and then you can throw in some warm, deep, groovy, attitude-infused, classy, sensual and sexy tech house (yeah, dinner music ) to lift things up...duuuuuuuuuuuuude i was in HEAVEN.
THAT is the kind of music i wanna hear when i go out.
massive props to jeff and diskho, for bringing MTL yet another stunning talent.
bomb ass nighttttttttt, so happy i woke up finally, nice seeing all my peeps moeva, mitsu, haki, paulr, etcetcetc...
see the troopers out on sundayyyyyyyy
oh ya and did i mention undergrounddddddd sounds. he is the definition of what underground is.

Afterhours is a state of mind, but significantly, it's more a state of 'I don't mind'. A determined continuation, contentment and relief that 'it ain't over yet!' An injection of music into attitude and occasion which creates an emotional wave forth that isolates globally, a ringing harmonic, a signal to a like-minded collective that 'we are only us'.
