I'm like that as well.
I have a certain format for every song, it has to be properly capitalized, sets have a certain ending, and they have to be placed in the proper order.
If there is an extra space, or a word is capitalized, i ahve to change it immediately haha

I hope not. I'm just thankful that I'm only like this with my own stuff, and I don't mind it really when other people's rooms or stuff is totally disorganized.
I just thought of another one: My Gadgets on Windows Sidebar are grouped and placed with precision on my desktop so that they don't cover specific parts of my wallpaper, and all windows must be the exact same size (I will go through and open all my main folders in Explorer and then close them so that when I open them next time, they are automatically the right size).

so far this poll tells me that nearly 70% of TOTAs have no idea what OCD is.

We all know that were are not clinically diagnosed w/ OCD or are anything close to actually having OCD, however we all have our little quirks which is our form of 'OCD'

The interesting thing for me is how I developed it. I lived in Venezuela for a year, and I guess to cope with the less sanitary conditions there, I reacted by just trying to clean up my surroundings. A friend of mine has been living in French Guiana for the past 3 months, and she was VERY messy before, but now she's developed the exact same thing. It definitely has its benefits, so I just try to focus on those rather than think about how much of my time/energy is spent for it.
And by it, I don't mean actual OCD, just the excessive habit of cleaning and organizing.

I cannot get in my car and drive anywhere unless I buy a coffee before getting to where I am going. Even if I go to the corner store I have to drive out of my way to get a coffee first. As long as there is a coffee in the car then I am fine to go to where ever I am going.

So if the poll asked "do you have strong preferences regarding trivial matters?" then a yes vote would be acceptable. Saying that idiosyncrisies equate to OCD is like saying feeling sad equates to clinical depression.
