How long was the last Tiesto In Concert in L.A.? The rescheduled one in Miami (2005) was four hours.
i hope he doesn't play that long...
a lot of times when they do sets that long, they loose energy within the set, something I noticed that happend with AVB @ Giant a few weeks ago...

I warned everyone long ago that him playing 8 hours was going to hurt him. 4-5 hours is when he's at his best. 6 hours is prob the limit. when he does 2-3 hour sets they sound too much like asot. glad sf gets 4-5 hour sets from him every single time.
for tiesto I think he is at his best when he has super long sets. somewhere in that time he has this internal trigger that goes off and his set goes into a whole diff realm. this is something that even through his downfall he is still able to pull off whenever I read reviews of super long tiesto sets. but I have to admit the last one I read what a long long time ago.

If the ground gets too claustrophobic or if your not into jumping around with everyone around you or getting bumped into left and right, I'd suggest finding a nice view somewhere in the bleachers on the second floor. (You get there from the front entrance/opposite side of the stage. The side smoking area is also a nice place to get fresh air!
Behind the DJ??? I was there last time he was at the sports arena but I never found the "behind the DJ" spot... I remember they would let me walk anywhere. Was this at the last Tiesto event there? All I remember was that the stage looked like it was pressing against the back wall and there was the VIP lounge area but that was in a different part of the venue... is that what you mean?

I didn't get VIP at the last Tiesto in Concert so I'm not sure. I did have VIP @ Monster Massive and I remember hanging out on the side and behind the DJ but the stage was also set up way different @ Monster Massive. Guess we'll just have to wait and see...

What he means by behind the DJ is like...30 feet behind the DJ(at monster massive). They put a gate around the whole stage area that you can stand up against. It's not a great view.

love him or hate him.....there is no party bigger than a Tiesto party! He usually rocks in these large events.

What Dave said. It was nice to see Armin Van Buuren shaking his legs to Eric Prydz - Proper Education remix. But it wasn't a spot to stand at all night long.

What made it a good spot is that some of the DJs came down and greeted people there before or after their set.
But the highlight of being back there was seeing a big ole fight. :-p

Looks like I missed out on the free entertainment! There's the downside to open beer and vodka bar. It was probably two drunken hard asses. I doubt anyone taking E would be in a fighting mood.

heh, the fight was at like 945 that night. idiots if they were already stupid drunk. it took security several minutes to respond. at that point I actually wondered how safe I was if I needed them with how slow they were.
I got pissed that night cause I drank so many straight vodka on the rocks (about 8-10) and only got a slight buzz at the most....note I drank all those just during markus' and armin's set. lol. we couldn't stay too late and once they decided to kick VIPers in the face and stopped caring about the area by letting anyone in (including to the vodka bar) during judge jules set, we decided it was then time to leave.
anyhow knowing tiesto I am gonna guess his set in la will be four hours again.
