Tiesto est aussi vert que nous tous !
Sur son site off :
What a great way to come back to my homecountry. After that gig I was really happy and full of energy and we went on to Kremlin in Amsterdam and after that to "Antwerp is burning" which is in Belgium.
A huge tent was built near the harbour of Antwerp and just after I started playing something horrible happened! The police came in and asked me to play not so loud, else they would stop the party. When they left I put up the volume again and I had a great time with the crowd which was amazing. The atmosphere inside that tent was so great, even better then Eindhoven which was really hard to beat. 45 minutes in my set the police came back. They said the license for that party was not to play louder then 80db after midnight. 80db?!?!, if all the people inside that tent were screaming (and they did this a lot!), it was already more then 80 db! The police told me to stop or I could go with them.. I did not have any choice, I had to stop playing. This was one of the biggest disappointments of my career. 5,000 people who were so happy and had such a great time, and then the stupid authorities had to spoil it for everybody. Also the promoters are to blame, having me almost arrested and not sorting out a good license. I was in the middle of my set and had to stop, it's like having the greatest night and suddenly you wake up. Oh, it was just a dream ending in something like a nightmare. I am very sorry for everybody who was in that party and I promise to come back soon and make up with all the people there. The party was about to grow to one of the best of my life and I want another chance to finish it the right way. After that I went to La Rocca in Lier, also in Belgium. I played a 3 hour set, the crowd was good and enabled me a little bit to lose my frustration over the party in Antwerp.
Belgium, I will be back soon to finish my dream...
..take care,
Tiësto
S'il revient alors je serais là pour l'applaudir aussi!
