Definitely not Simon's best work, but probably the best known since Ferry remixed it. My favourite AOT track is still Gloria (Transparent Mix), but Madagascar (Cygnus X Remix) is also very nice

I like the Ferry Corsten Remix because it's just more energetic. The Cygnus X mix is nice, but pretty basic/average IMO. Ferry just adds some exictement, which I typically (not always) prefer in trance and dance music. I guess it's the bassline and the kickdrum he uses, the typical Ferry sound which I don't think is bad, but he has used that same sound in a lot of tracks over the years.

Where's the love for Kaleidoscope?

Personally, I've never cared for the Cygnus X remix of Madagasga, or any remixes thereof. Although Cygnus X remix is at least worth listening to once and a while.

When it comes to Simon Berry's work, though, I prefer his stuff with Giussani in Union Jack.

If you want excitement, the original is really all you need. Far more exciting than the Ferry Corsten mix, that one.

What do people think to the Neil Scarbrough mix of this track? I'm not a fan of remixing classics. But for madagascar I think it works really well.

i thought it was fucking awful. really really boring.. it makes ferry's mix sound complex & manages to strip it of all power at the same time

i like just about every other version of it though.. original, cygus x, ferry, push & domination mixes all work for me

Agree with you. They all do the job for me. Each gives a differnt edge to the track. So i wouldnt say that one is better than the other.

Funny, my favorite Art of Trance tracks are Blue Owl and Easter Island which weren't mentioned by no one (except Easter Island by Psy-T)
