I don't see how your two statements relate. You can build a night by playing trance as well can't you? If I was playing a classic trance release party I would stick solely to trance for the most part. My statements make perfect sense. You build a night playing slower less popular tracks, IE. House, then build into trance, which he played for a good 4+ hours, then bring it down a notch and play more slower tunes towards the end of the night again. What's so wrong with that?

The man spun for like 7 friggin hours (whatever, he played a long-ass time on those decks!). So stop your fucking crying, because the trance that he did play was unfuckingbelievable! And to hear people bitch about some house being played, or 1 or 2 tracks they disliked...

Ummmm, pretty much all the tracks he played were brought out of retirement. And how exactly would you have been disappointed? If there were no trance, no friends, crappy sound, too packed, and the DJ sucked??? well none of that happened... you missed out on probably one of the BEST trance nights to grace this city this year!
