i think it's true. michael vick does not read the playbook. i am sure jim mora and his crew drew up some competant offensive plays, but it seems vick kept screwing it up by overthrowing someone or going out the pocket too early.
just my opinion ... we could blame his wide receivers, but alge crumpler is one really good tight end in my opinion. i saw him once in the dome against the saints a couple of years back, and that big guy can run. if vick actually knew how to throw to him, we could be naming him along with gates and gonzlaez has one of the best tight ends right now. if harrington plays his cards right this year, and uses crumpler's talents to the fullest, i place him as 3rd best over winslow. currently, it's gates-gonzalez-winslow-crumpler.
i would name jeremy shockey in the list, but because of last year's performances, i place him 5th below crumpler and winslow. i would place todd heap, jason witten, l.j. smith in my miscellaneous group ready to hit top 5, and my up and comer is greg olsen from chicago.
