took my girlfriend camping on the weekend, camped ontop of a pre incan pyramid that was only discovered in 2002 and fortunately the place is still secret and few people know how to get there i stupidly managed to bring the 6 person tent with the poles for the 3 person tent which doesn´t work too well especially when you´re trying to pitch the tent in the rain my camping stove also decided to run out of gas that trip so we didn´t eat much. but we got a view like this so all was worth it

great place for camping not far from sydney - kilalea state park, just north of kiama. decent facilities,showers and bbqs, can walk to two beaches from the camp site, it's closed off at night so no local hoons, fishing from the beach, rocks, and a river mouth if you're up for a 20 minute walk, great surfing (the farm and mystics).
