of course we are going to pick on Microsoft Windows, because it's the most popular OS product, and also the most easily exploitable. to tell you the truth, it can be very easy for someone to get this trojan. hackers can easily drop this in popular websites, and boom the user's infected. thankfully, scriptblocking would ease the cause a bit, but not the whole way.

I question that exploitable comment, unless you are a computer software engineer and an expert on windows and other operating systems, you dont know what youre talking about. Windows is targeted because it is the most used, making worms etc most effective. back the mps3 up and ur invincible unless ur house catches on fire, but if thats the case i guess ur os didnt matter anyway

That's why you should have an "MP3 player" as back up, something large enough to fit your collection. I think for most of us, anything under 8gb wont cut it (even that is quite small...I have at least 30gb of MP3s). If your MP3 files were to be erased by some hacker, your best bet is to just export them back once you have cleared the virus from your computer.

I imagine one day Mac viruses will be wide spread. Until that day, I'll just keep reminding myself the various reasons i bought a Mac.

I never claimed to be original, but it was just a big fat ass that was too tempting not to kick

Funny, I've got a lot more PDF files than MP3 in general.

that never gets old.

and anyways, i guess i should reiterate my statement after reading through it. it was worth getting kicked in the ass. To tell you the truth, all computer systems are vulnerable to be exploited, hacked, or messed up in some kind of way.

Looking at the technical details of the virus , it looks pretty good.
